Ingredients

  • 60 grams 60 Unsalted butter, softened

  • 60 grams 60 brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon 1 honey

  • 1 teaspoon 1 ground cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 salt

  • 4 slices 4 bread

Directions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and spreadable.
  • Evenly spread the honey butter mixture over one side of each bread slice.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 2–3 minutes.
  • Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Work in batches if needed.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until the bread is golden brown and caramelized on top.
  • Remove carefully and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Optional: Top with cream or vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with honey.

Notes

  • Adjust time and temp: Note that air fryer models vary, and some may require or lower or higher cooking times and temperatures. If your bites aren’t browning well, add a couple of minutes.
  • Do not overcrowd: If cooking multiple honey butter toast, arrange them in a single layer with enough space in between to allow even airflow.
