Ingredients

  • 500 grams 500 large potato

  • 2 tablespoon 2 olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon 1 salt

  • 1 teaspoon 1 black pepper

  • 2 teaspoon 2 garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon 1 paprika

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 2 tablespoon 2 fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  • Wash and scrub potatoes.
  • Cut into wedges. First, cut in half lengthwise, then cut each half into quarters. Then, get the quarters and slice them into wedges. This should give you around 6 to 12 wedges per potato.
  • Place the wedges in a bowl of ice water for 20–30 minutes.
  • Drain and pat completely dry with a clean towel.
  • Toss wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and half the Parmesan until well coated.
  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C or 400°F.
  • Place wedges in a single layer
  • Cook 15–18 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • While hot, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, then garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust time and temp: Note that air fryer models vary, and some may require or lower or higher cooking times and temperatures. If your wedges aren’t browning well, add a couple of minutes.
  • Do not overcrowd: If cooking multiple potato wedges, arrange them in a single layer with enough space in between to allow even airflow.
