Ingredients

  • 1 — Honeycrisp apple, diced

  • 2 tablespoons — light corn syrup

  • 1 tablespoon — honey

  • 1 tablespoon — maple syrup

  • 1 pinch — ground cinnamon, or more to taste

  • 1 pinch — brown sugar

  • 2 — 11 inch) flour tortillas

Directions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add apple, corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar; cook, stirring every few minutes, until apple is slightly softened and caramelized, 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
  • Place 1 tortilla in same skillet over medium-low heat; spread apple mixture on tortilla. Top with remaining tortilla. Cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, 1 to 3 minutes. Carefully flip quesadilla; cook until bottom tortilla is golden brown, 1 to 3 minutes more.
