Ingredients

  • 2 strips — bacon

  • 1 (15 ounce) can — butter beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1 tablespoon — unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon — brown sugar

  • undefined — salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
  • Heat butter beans, bacon, butter, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbling, about 5 minutes; season with salt and black pepper.
