Ingredients
2 strips — bacon
1 (15 ounce) can — butter beans, rinsed and drained
1 tablespoon — unsalted butter
1 tablespoon — brown sugar
undefined — salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
- Heat butter beans, bacon, butter, and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbling, about 5 minutes; season with salt and black pepper.
