How to Make Air Fryer Bacon Pigs in a Blanket

If you’re looking for the ultimate party snack without the carb overload, look no further. By ditching the traditional crescent dough and wrapping these mini sausages in crispy, salty bacon, we’ve created a gluten-free appetizer that actually tastes better than the original. They are smoky, savory, and perfectly bite-sized.

The best part is, you can make them in the air fryer. It’s less messier, and it’s healthier. Here’s how you can do it.

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces 10 breakfast sausage

  • 5 strips 5 bacon

Directions

  • Cut each bacon strip in half crosswise. If bacon is thick-cut, trim slightly thinner so it crisps evenly.
  • Wrap half a strip of bacon tightly around each breakfast sausage. Place the seam side down so it stays secure while cooking.
  • Set to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Arrange sausages in a single layer, not touching.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway. If bacon needs more color, air fry an additional 1–2 minutes.
