What makes Air Fryer S’mores so good

There is a bunch of ways you can make Air Fryer such as campfire, stovetop, skillet and oven. They all however come with a list of downsides. Campfire isn’t always available, especially for households without an outdoor area, stovetop is nice but can give you some mess, while oven takes a lot of time. But with Air Fryer, making it becomes much better. Here’s why you should make Air Fryer Smores.

  • Easy to make: Much like every other Air Fryer recipes around, making Air Fryer Smores is easy. Prepare the marshmallows, assemble them inside the air fryer and wait, that’s pretty much it. No need to watch over the marshmallows out of fear of burning them, or completely melting them.
  • Less messy: Sometimes, making Smores can get messy. Luckily, pretty much everything happens inside the air fryer and you’ll be left with minimal mess.
  • Easy to customize: It’s S’mores, so whether you’re into chocolate, peanut butter, honey, caramel, it could work. Well, the world is your oyster.

Ingredients

For this Air Fryer smores, you’ll need several ingredients. In my recipe, these are the ingredients that I used. But then again, Smores is actually flexible which means you can decide what and how many items will go in your smores!

  • Marshmallow: The center and the main star of this recipe. For this recipe, I used white marshmallow for the vanilla taste, but feel free to include or replace this with other flavored marshmallow. Also, try to look for bigger smores. Small ones might completely melt, making them hard to scoop. You can also opt for homemade ones, or vegan options!
  • Chocolate: Chocolate makes a perfect match for marshmallows. It melts easily with heat, blending smoothly with the fluffy sweetness for a treat that simply melts in the mouth. You can use a mix of chocolate bars, chocolate chips and more.

How to make Air Fryer Smores

For the air fryer smores, here’s everything you can do.

Preheat the air fryer to 175 C for 3 minutes.

Select your preferred marshmallow. The most common marshmallow is the white one, or the vanilla flavored marshmallow. They look good when roasted, and any person from all ages won’t be able to resist the sweetness of these cuties. Well, that’s unless it’s the healthier version that you’re looking for.

Next, you’ll need parchment paper, cake pan or mold. While yes, you can use the air fryer basket alone, but if you want to serve them whole, you need something that can get the entire thing out. Remember, melted marshmallow sticks on the surface!

Time to assemble. Cover the first layer of the mold with plenty of chocolate. Save some for the toppings, ideally half of it. Make a bed of chocolates. After that, lay down the marshmallows in a single layer. This ensures that each marshmallow melts evenly. For the final layer, layer the remaining chocolate.
